Paraquat: feedback on the preliminary scientific reports and on critical uses of paraquat
The Department of Pesticide Regulation released preliminary scientific reports following its review of human health and ecotoxicology studies on the use of the pesticide paraquat submitted as a part of 2022 and 2023 renewal cycle.
DPR is opening a public comment period to collect input on its ecotoxicology and human health preliminary scientific reports, which are available on its website (www.cdpr.ca.gov). As a part of the comment period, DPR is also requesting input on critical uses of paraquat and what currently available, effective alternatives may be available.
