DPR Intent to Begin Reevaluation of Total Release Foggers for Indoor Consumer Use

On May 28, 2026, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) posted a California Notice of Investigation of Total Release Foggers and Intent to Begin Reevaluation. <https://www.cdpr.ca.gov/stakeholder-notice/notice-of-investigation-of-total-release-foggers-and-intent-to-begin-reevaluation/>


DPR is currently accepting public comments, where feedback can be submitted regarding DPR’s intent to issue a decision to begin reevaluation of TRFs for indoor consumer use. Comments will be accepted up to and including June 27, 2026. The department intends to post comments received following the close of the comment period and any follow-up materials on its website.
