The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) is accepting public comments on changes made to the originally proposed text of section 6448 of Title 3, California Code of Regulations and the document, “1,3-Dichloropropene Field Fumigation Requirements, rev. January 1, 2026,” incorporated by reference in the originally proposed text of sections 6448, 6448.2, 6624, and 6626; Health Risk Mitigation for 1,3-Dichloropropene. In addition, DPR is accepting public comments on additional documents, which DPR relied upon in adopting the proposed regulations or included in the rulemaking file.
On June 5, 2025, DPR issued a Notice of Modifications to Text of Proposed Action and Notice of Addition of Documents to the Rulemaking File along with the text of modified regulations, modified “1,3-Dichloropropene Field Fumigation Requirements, rev. January 1, 2026,” and additional documents. The Notice of Modifications to Text of Proposed Action and Notice of Addition of Documents to the Rulemaking File is also available in Spanish.
Comments may be submitted in writing about the proposed modifications to the originally proposed regulation text and additional documents. The public comment period for this proposed regulatory action began on June 5, 2025. Written comments must be received no later than June 20, 2025.
